History

Beach Insurance and Associates is a culmination of great people, sound carriers, and strong processes. The agency is a family-owned business that has grown organically (one policy at a time) and through acquisition. At the center of our success is our customer service. Customer service is of paramount importance to us.

Chance and Amy Perry started the company in September of 2004. Chance served in a variety of agency management and consulting roles before becoming a captive agent, exclusively with Nationwide Insurance.

January 2008 – Acquired Marr Insurance Agency in Charlotte, NC. John & Ginger Marr served the community for 30 years.

January 2009 – Rebranded the agency to Chance Perry Insurance Financial Services

February 2010 – Opened scratch satellite in Concord, NC

January 2019 – Acquired Ash Agency in Johns Island, SC. Holly & Steve Ash served the community for 20 years.

July 2020 – Transitioned from a captive Nationwide-only insurance agent to an Independent Insurance Broker representing multiple companies, products, and territories.

September 2020 – Acquired Beach Insurance Agency, Inc in Myrtle Beach. Rick & Debbie Reynolds served the community over 30 years.

October 2020 – Rebranded entire agency to Beach Insurance LLC

October 2021 – Acquired Davis Mobile Home Insurance Agency in Surfside, SC. Terry Davis served the community over 25 years.

May 2022 – Opened scratch satellite in Upstate, SC.
